What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Cashier position at North Beach Pizza?
North Beach Pizza- Stanyan Location.
This is a family-owned business, and we are currently looking for a full-time/part-time server/cashier with customer experience; who can bring enthusiasm, and professionalism, be proactive, and be a multi-tasker.
Job responsibilities include:
-Dispatch delivery drivers fast and efficiently, to guarantee fast delivery service upon reaching their destination.
-Must complete all the duties and daily procedures to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
-Processing payments and handling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records of payments received.
-Providing excellent customer service by being courteous, friendly, and professional during interactions with customers both in and out of the restaurant.
-Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
-Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, front area, and throughout the restaurant.
-Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and informing them of the day's specials.
Take, manage and confirm reservations and manage any special requests or accommodations.
-Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate service.
-Assist with clearing and resetting tables as needed.
-Receive take-out orders over the phone, through online systems, or in person while ensuring accurate entry of orders into the restaurant's point-of-sale (POS) system.
-Check the order for accuracy before handing it to the customer or delivery driver.
-Double-check orders to ensure all items are correct and meet the restaurant's quality standards.
-Coordinate timing of order preparation and packaging to minimize wait times for customers.
-Assist other restaurant staff with various tasks as needed, especially during peak hours.
-Restocking items as needed.
-Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order preparation while assisting when needed.
