Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will support the admissions process by providing exceptional administrative assistance, ensuring smooth patient intake, and maintaining accurate records. Your energetic approach and strong organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment for patients and streamline office operations. Responsibilities
- Assist with the patient admission process by collecting and verifying necessary documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers to facilitate smooth operations
- Support medical administrative tasks such as filing and data entry
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and confidentiality standards at all times
- Provide general office support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and managing correspondence
Skills
- Prior experience working in a medical or dental office environment is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately understand and relay information
- Proven ability to support administrative functions within a healthcare setting
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and scheduling
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with patients and team members
- Familiarity with office software applications and electronic health record systems
- Ability to adapt quickly in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude
Shift pay wage:
- starting between $22 - $25 based upon experience
Schedule:
- We currently have two potential shift option: 1. Friday through Sunday 2. Saturday and Sunday
- Ideal hours: 9am-5:30pm
