We are looking for a passionate and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team and help deliver the exceptional patient experience our community has come to expect. As a PTA at North Austin Physical Therapy, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide individualized treatment, build meaningful relationships with patients, and help guide them through their recovery journey.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with Physical Therapists to deliver individualized treatment plans focused on improving movement, strength, function, and quality of life.
- Provide hands-on patient care using evidence-based techniques, including therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, manual interventions, and functional training.
- Build strong relationships with patients by educating, encouraging, and supporting them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with the Physical Therapist to ensure each patient receives the highest level of care.
- Document patient treatments, progress, and outcomes accurately within our electronic medical record system.
- Assist patients across a variety of conditions, including orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, balance challenges, and general mobility limitations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and positive treatment environment for both patients and team members.
- Contribute to a collaborative clinic culture where team members support each other and continually strive to improve.
What We’re Looking For
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Texas.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help people achieve their goals.
- A team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate with Physical Therapists and other clinic team members.
- Interest in hands-on care, movement, exercise, and helping patients become stronger and more confident.
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining high clinical standards.
- Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who shares our values.
