What you will do:
- Responsible for all infection control monitoring, tracking, and prevention
- Makes frequent rounds to ensure nursing staff are following the facility policy and procedures - redirecting or educating, as necessary (for IP control only, not nursing manger or clinical role).
- Ensure the core principles of infection control are being observed
- Any other tasks as directed by the DON
Must have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Epidemiology
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
- In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations
- Physical strength and stamina
- First aid and CPR certifications
- Minimum one-year in a supervisory role in a Skilled Nursing setting preferred
