North Auburn Care is seeking a Housekeeper to assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the building and facility over the next 3 - 6 months.
Essential Functions:
- Complete daily cleaning schedule in accordance with the facility policies
- Assist with laundry duties
- Follow infection control procedures
- Ensures all safety measures are used when housekeeping duties are being performed
- Report and restock supplies as needed
- Assist in the proper care and use of all housekeeping equipment
- Identify and report any equipment issues for malfunctions
- Report all unsafe conditions, defective equipment, and any maintenance repairs to supervisor
- Dispense soap, paper, and other housekeeping supplies
- Attend in-service training as assigned by facility
- Observe infection control procedures related to the housekeeping department
- Follow OSHA regulations as they pertain to the housekeeping department
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- High School Diploma / General Education Diploma
Salary : $17 - $19
