What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician Assistant in Cardiology position at North Atlanta Cardiology?
We have immediate opening for a mid-level Physician Assistant (PA) position in a Cardiology specialty practice. Ideal candidate is someone who has at least two years of experience in Cardiology/Internal Medicine/Emergency Medicine area/ER/Pulmonary/Critical Care or related areas. Acute Care Certification required.
Duties
- The provider will treat and assess the comprehensive health needs of their patients and provide clinical care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses related to cardiology.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and therapies
- Provide patient education on preventive care, disease management, and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Shared on call schedule with physician at hospitals
