Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on conveyor systems, including belts, rollers, motors, and drives to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues using schematics, electrical blueprints, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Repair or replace conveyor components utilizing welding skills ( welding if applicable), precision measuring instruments, and industrial mechanic techniques.
- Diagnose complex electrical systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage circuits, and electrical troubleshooting to restore equipment functionality swiftly.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades or modifications involving schematics, electrical systems, or mechanical components.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols by conducting safety inspections and adhering to industry standards for electrical maintenance and equipment repair.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility environment with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices.
- Solid knowledge of electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting pneumatic systems, hydraulics, and mechanical repair techniques.
- Hands-on experience with industrial electrician tasks including electrical blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and electrical system repairs.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters effectively.
- Skilled in welding ( welding if applicable), equipment troubleshooting, and using schematics for diagnostics.
- Strong analysis skills combined with excellent customer service orientation to communicate technical issues clearly to team members and clients.
- Certification or experience in industrial electrician work or related fields is preferred; additional certifications in HVAC/R or hydraulics are a plus.
- Fluency in English is required for effective communication within the team and documentation purposes.
