Parts Counter - Black Hills Truck
North American Truck & Trailer, Inc. is seeking a Parts Counter person for our Black Hills Truck location. The Parts Counter position is crucial to the success of the dealership as it involves providing top-notch customer service and support to our clients and technicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in finding the right parts for their truck or trailer
- Manage inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained
- Provide accurate price quotes and process sales transactions
- Answer incoming phone calls and emails regarding parts inquiries
- Source parts from suppliers when necessary
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure parts are ordered and received in a timely manner
- Keep track of special orders and communicate delivery times to customers
- Maintain a clean and organized parts department
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a parts counter or related role preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills
- Knowledge of truck and trailer parts is a plus
