What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Admissions position at North American Trade Schools?
The Role
We're hiring a Director of Admissions to lead enrollment at our Baltimore campus. You'll lead and develop a team of admissions reps, set and maintain the standard for how we engage prospective students, and build the processes that drive consistent, sustainable results.
You'll work closely with Student Services, Financial Aid, and campus leadership. This is a leadership role for someone with strong admissions or related experience, and is looking to be a part of a mission-driven, growing organization.
Qualifications
- 5 years in a management or leadership role, with direct responsibility for a team of reps or individual contributors
- Direct experience in admissions, career education, higher ed, or workforce training
- Proven track record hitting enrollment or sales targets without compromising on student or customer quality
- Experience owning a full funnel, from inquiry to close
- A track record of coaching individuals
- Comfortable owning metrics end-to-end: building reports, identifying trends, and using data to have individual-level performance conversations
- Has navigated pressure to hit numbers and made the right call anyway
- Experience navigating cross-functional relationships in a school or campus environment
