GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) Floor Operator is a hands-on role. The EAF Floor Operator is

system.

- Complete check of furnace, forklift, fluorspar levels, hydraulic fluid levels, and power
- Keep stock of electrodes, oxygen jet lances, temperature and sample probes, and gunning
- Manage all housekeeping duties including keeping the furnace area clean, cleaning the

- Follow Company safety rules
- Report the absence of or defect in any protective equipment or clothing to the Supervisor
