Our Opportunity
North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for a Plant Controller Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead all financial and planning activities at the plant level to allow for effective management of each business unit, provide and interpret all financial and planning information for the Plant Manager on a timely basis, and control spending at the plant level by monitoring employment levels and purchase requisitions compared to approved budgets.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Your Priorities
- Recommend, implement, and monitor compliance with all accounting and payroll policies at the Plant level.
- Responsible for the preparation and explanation of all Plant accounting ledgers and reports.
- Responsible for the correct and accurate accounting classification of all expenditures to ensure that capital and inventory records, and manufacturing costs are accurate.
- Responsible for financial planning for the individual plants.
- Responsible for the timely preparation and explanation of departmental reports and plant Profit & Loss statements.
- Verify that all personnel requisitions are within the approved budget.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000
Requirements
Your Background
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline, plus 6 - 8 years of experience in a position in a manufacturing operations function (i.e.: Production Control, Engineering, Cost Accounting)--including experience preparing and analyzing financial reports (i.e.: income statement, balance sheet).
Experience in a tooling and/or automotive manufacturing environment is preferred.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
