Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute electrical work accurately.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent outages and ensure reliability.
- Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations to maintain best practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and addressing their electrical needs.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of projects and materials used.
Requirements:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Louisiana.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment.
