· EOS provides home- and community-based services to families of children with behavioral difficulties.
· Services are provided in the places where the children and families are experiencing difficulties. The caseload averages 5-8 families, and the schedule requires flexibility, with the possibility of early morning, evening, and weekend hours.
· This a 40 hour a week position with a productivity requirement of 23 hours per week of Direct Care. Supplemental pay is offered for every hour over 23 hours of productivity hours per week at $41 per hour.
· The starting salary range is from $66,000 to $68,000 for candidates with a master’s degree and $55,000 to $57,000 for those without but currently enrolled in a graduate program, with the higher salary generally commensurate with bilingual capability and licensure. Supplemental pay is over and above this salary.
· We use a highly structured, evidence-based formulation model with a strengths-based, team-oriented focus. This model makes it possible for clinicians to work with a wide range of diagnoses and family circumstances.
· Supervision is considered a vital part of the program, with individual supervision for 2 hours weekly, and group supervision and training for 1 hour. We provide supervision hours necessary for social work, mental health, and marriage and family therapy licensures.
· Clinicians attend meetings with our child and adolescent medication provider to help understand psychiatric issues and medication.
· The position requires that the clinician hold a master’s degree in a license-eligible field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling etc OR the clinician can be currently enrolled in a graduate school program.
· EOS clinicians also represent diverse backgrounds and as a program we value cultural humility, equity, and inclusion.
· Clinicians work as part of a team which includes a behavior specialist, a clinical supervisor, a medication provider, a clinical director, and a program director. The behavior specialist also provides the in-home hours and supplements the treatment plan developed by the team.
· Clinicians work with parents to identify and address barriers to progress, and collaborates with schools, physicians and other health professionals involved with the family.
· We work with a wide range of referral sources, from schools to hospitals, and our primary focus is on sustainability, such that the family can carry on with parenting and behavior management skills after discharge from our program.
· Clinical work includes all aspects of treatment: intake, insurance authorizations and re-authorizations, treatment planning, collaboration with collaterals such as schools and psychiatrists, maintenance and aftercare planning and ensuring complete and timely documentation and chart maintenance.
· A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required, although clinicians to do not ever transport clients. Mileage is reimbursed at .60 per mile.
· Weekly on-call duties rotate among the approximately 25 clinicians, so each clinician is on call once every 25 weeks. On-call duties consist of being available by phone from Thursday through the following Thursday.
· We provide trainings in Risking Connection, First Aid and CPR, Parent Coaching, Emotional Regulation, Motivational Interviewing and collaborating with insurance providers, as well as ongoing training in our evidence-based formulation model, trauma-focused treatment, and all aspects of behavioral and family treatment.
· We offer a full benefit package including health, dental and vacation accrual (to be discussed with Office Manager at time of offer). In addition, we offer $2500 per year in tuition reimbursement for work-related trainings and courses.
· Collaboration is frequent with other NAFI programs including Foster Care, residential group homes, and the Multi-Systemic Therapy program.
