As our Surgical Scheduler, you'll be the go-to coordinator for pediatric dental surgeries. You'll work closely with families, hospitals, and our clinical team to ensure every procedure is scheduled smoothly and with care.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule dental surgeries with affiliated hospitals and surgical centers
- Communicate clearly with parents/guardians about pre-op instructions, insurance, and follow-up care
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Collaborate with dentists, assistants, and front office staff to optimize scheduling
- Provide empathetic support to families throughout the surgical process
- Experience in dental or medical scheduling (preferred)
- Knowledge of insurance verification and authorization processes
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Familiarity with dental software systems (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental)
