Production Manager

Job Summary

North American Air Exchanger LLC is seeking a dynamic individual to lead our Production and Operations organization. The Production Manager is the driving force behind the this part of the organization and is presented with the opportunity to play a pivotal role in taking North American’s production to a new, exciting level. The optimal candidate is professional in their interpersonal interactions, upbeat, positive, and has a natural desire for personal and business growth.

Job Responsibilities, Including but not limited to:

· Recruitment and hiring of hourly shop labor, temporary or permanent, according to need

· Scheduling and execution of shop activities according to the master production schedule

· Coordination with shipping, receiving, and logistics to maintain timely material flow

· Coordination with procurement to ensure material and supply needs are met

· Production support for outsourced production activities

· Creating and enforcing a culture of safety, execution, and excellence

Required Skills, Traits, and/or Qualifications

· The ability to generate and implement capacity plans in accordance with Sales targets

· A passion for efficiency and the ability to effectively change processes as needed

· Ability to effectively utilize maintenance personnel to implement capital projects in accordance with company objectives

· A strategic thinker capable of generating short, medium, and long-term Production plans in support of company growth

· A natural leader with a passion for building effective and productive teams, and most importantly, a strong desire to empower team leads to innovate and implement their own ideas.

· Experience in heat exchanger and ASME code pressure vessel manufacturing is highly preferred

· Experience with CNC cutting, machining, and welding equipment is highly preferred

· Proficiency with common business software, such as Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.

Education and Experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· 3-5 years Manufacturing leadership experience
