North American Aerodynamics, LLC. located in Roxboro, NC is looking for a highly motivated individual seeking an opportunity to be a part of an organization that specializes in life saving devices for our commercial and military partners.
Summary
The Quality Control Inspector inspects products at various stages in the production process and is responsible for ensuring quality standards are maintained and implemented to ensure conformance to specification. This position will also work closely with production areas to develop and provide support to team members during daily operations to leverage collaboration and innovation in order to produce the right quality product to meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Understand, interpret and implement basic quality assurance tools and standards
- Inspection of various components utilizing a variety of precision measuring instruments
- Interpret blueprints, data, manuals, drawings and other customer related inspection criteria to determine specifications, inspection procedures, and measuring instruments required
- Document inspected results by completing inspection reports and logs
- Identify nonconformance's and opportunities for improvement
- Support on-site audits conducted by internal and external providers
- Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 a plus
- Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management

- Ability to regularly stand or sit for up to 10 hours
- Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
- Understanding and familiarity of basic sewing techniques and terms a plus
