Security Officer - Flex
Location: North Dallas area
Job Summary:
The Security Officer - Flex will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and clients by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. The Security Officer - Flex will also be responsible for responding to alarms and emergencies, completing reports, and communicating with local law enforcement as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
- Respond to alarms and emergencies, such as medical emergencies or criminal activity
- Investigate and report any suspicious behavior or activity
- Complete daily activity reports and incident reports as needed
- Communicate with local law enforcement as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Security license
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally
- Previous security experience preferred
Pay:
$16.00 to $18.00 per hour
