About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and team-oriented Grain Inspector to join our small, laid-back team at our Columbus facility. This is a hands-on position in a friendly, casual work environment where you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality of incoming corn shipments.
What You’ll Do
- Use a mechanical probe to collect grain samples from semi-trucks
- Perform quality tests on corn samples, including moisture content, test weight, and other key metrics
- Work closely with our small team to maintain accurate records and support daily operations
- Occasionally work weekend hours as needed (not frequent)
Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Occasional weekend hours
What We’re Looking For
- A dependable team player who shows up on time and takes pride in their work
- Ability to work in a casual environment (jeans, t-shirt, and tennis shoes are standard)
- Comfortable with hands-on physical work and basic testing procedures
- No previous grain inspection experience required — we will train the right person!
