Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 14 days of hire.
- One year of experience preferred. New grads welcomed to apply.

What you will do
- A Registered Nurse who possesses the clinical skills that allow for appropriate assessment of patient care needs and demonstrates accountability in coordinating age specific patient care.
- Serves as a clinical resource for staff on their assigned shift or unit.
- Coordinates patient care and delegates duties and responsibilities to staff and holds individuals accountable for outcomes achieved
- First line supervisor over a group of employees or a unit.

North Alabama Shoals Hospital is a 198-bed general acute care facility boasting spacious, private rooms for all patients, a 24-hour emergency department, medical and oncology services; medical/surgical inpatient units; short-stay surgery units. Shoals also operates the region’s only in-patient acute rehabilitation facility, the J. W. Sommer Rehabilitation Unit, and the Shoals Senior Care Center, the Shoals’ only psychiatric unit dedicated to our senior adults.
