Department/Unit Summary
At North Alabama Medical Center our emergency room (ER) team is staffed 24/7 with emergency physicians, nurses and staff who are trained in providing emergency care. Our team combines advanced training with compassionate

Qualifications and requirements
Applicants should have a current state RN license. Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support certification
ACLS/PALS is required within six months of hire.
One year of experience preferred
Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Supervises nursing and support staff during assigned shifts and ensures safe, quality care. Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.

Education: Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
