North Alabama Bone and Joint is searching for a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant, who can handle working in a fast-paced clinic environment with a positive attitude and a strong desire for efficiency. This position will provide high-quality care to patients seen within the clinic, under the direct supervision of a physician or physician assistant
· Prepares medicines according to physician request
· Maintains competency in specific area of practice
· Performs dressing changes and staple/suture removal
· Cross-trained as a cast technician to provide casting and cast removal as needed
· Records appropriate clinical notes and maintains patients’ records
· Schedule and pre-certify patient surgeries and procedures
· Effectively communicate with patients
· Other nursing duties as required
