Your daily role
- Perform proper installation, maintenance and adjustments of all associate equipment in the refrigeration cycle. Recognize potential problems, worn parts and perform necessary repairs
- Troubleshoot Anhydrous Ammonia refrigeration system problems
- Assembly, disassembly and overhaul of hydraulic pumps, relief valves, regulating valves, solenoids, filters, lines, actuating cylinders and motors
- Fitting and adjustment of chain and sprockets for drive units
- Assist with boiler operation and boiler room duties that includes testing water samples, maintaining chlorine and water softener system
Your Profile
- Prior experience in the operation and repair of two stage anhydrous ammonia refrigeration system
- Knowledge for the operation and repair of two stage anhydrous ammonia refrigeration system, screw compressor and booster, reciprocating compressor, rotary booster, evaporative condensers, ammonia pumps and controls and freezer tunnels for IQF processing
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and/or schematics, Knowledge of chemical manuals
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical technical equipment such as micrometers, calipers, metal gauges, metal thickness and multi-meter
- Knowledge of oxygen acetylene equipment
Shift: Day shift 6a-6p (5 days on, 2 days off) during pack (May to November) and 6 am - 4:30p Monday - Thursday November to May.
