Pay range: $28.00 to $38.00 USD

Your daily role
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, electrical systems, refrigeration support equipment, and building/grounds infrastructure to maintain safe and efficient operations.
- Assist senior technicians with inspection, monitoring, and basic maintenance of industrial refrigeration systems, compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, and related controls.
- Troubleshoot motors, starters, relays, contactors, hydraulic components, and mechanical drive systems using standard diagnostic tools and measuring instruments.
- Support facility operations including basic boiler room duties, lighting repairs, plumbing support, grounds upkeep, and general building maintenance tasks.
- Accurately document work performed in CMMS, follow all safety procedures (including ammonia safety protocols), and actively participate in hands-on training to develop into a Refrigeration Technician role.
Your profile
- 1–3 years of mechanical, industrial maintenance, automotive, farm, military, or technical trade experience; trade school training a plus.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems (motors, controls, wiring) and mechanical components such as pumps, bearings, chains, and gear drives. Knowledge of 3 Phase wiring systems a plus.
- Willingness to learn industrial refrigeration systems (ammonia) and obtain applicable certifications during employment.
- Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and electrical schematics or willingness to develop this skill.
- Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting mindset, and ability to work in varying temperatures, and flexible schedules as needed.
Shift: 6am to 2pm Saturdays, as scheduled
