Creates and monitors a system of controls in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.Prepares procedures, and forms for the recording of inventory and conducts periodic reviews of the inventory subledger.Prepares and records intercompany eliminations.Prepares quarterly, annual and ad hoc SEC reporting.Prepares monthly lease accounting adjustments including updating schedule with current and modified leases.Coordinates with external auditors and accountants and prepares schedules for quarterly reviews and annual audits.Prepares work papers in accordance with ASC 606 and related monthly/quarterly journal entries.Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.Documents, prepares and posts entries to the general ledger and participates in the monthly close process and reconciliations.Assists in analyzing and understanding month end results.Prepares and implements audit schedules and process re-engineering to reduce financial errors.The ideal candidate for this position will work independently with general supervision and works on assignments of moderate to complex scope where judgment is required in resolving problems and making recommendations. Will exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.The pay range for this role is $82,450 - 97,000.
