Life Insurance Agent
Norris Insurance Group is seeking a motivated Life Insurance Agent to join our team. This position will focus primarily on helping new and existing customers identify their life insurance needs and offering suitable simplified-issue life insurance products.
The Opportunity
Join a large, established Allstate agency with a strong customer base and a proven track record of growth. Our agency averages 100 new households each month, creating a consistent flow of new customer relationships and opportunities to identify additional insurance needs.
Our existing book of business represents a significant amount of untapped potential. With thousands of customers and ongoing new business, there is a tremendous opportunity for the right Life Insurance Agent to connect with customers, uncover their life insurance needs, build lasting relationships, and grow their production.
This is an opportunity to step into an established agency with a substantial customer base rather than starting from scratch. The potential is there for someone who is motivated, proactive, and willing to develop those relationships.

Compensation & Earning Potential
Estimated Annual Earnings: $70,000–$100,000
This position offers a competitive compensation structure with the opportunity to earn $70,000–$100,000 annually based on individual life insurance production and performance.
Our established customer base, 100 new households each month, and significant untapped potential within our existing book of business provide strong opportunities for an agent who is motivated to develop relationships and identify life insurance needs.
Actual compensation will vary based on individual production, policies issued and placed in force, carrier compensation, and other applicable factors.

Responsibilities
As a Life Insurance Agent, you will:
- Contact new and existing customers to discuss their life insurance needs
- Identify customer needs and present appropriate life insurance solutions
- Present and explain simplified-issue life insurance products
- Complete applications accurately and promptly
- Follow up on pending applications, premium requirements, and policy delivery
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records
- Assist customers with eligible policy changes and service needs
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Follow all applicable carrier, agency, privacy, suitability, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct business professionally and in the customer's best interests
Qualifications & Licensing
Candidates must:
- Hold or obtain an active Life Insurance License in the states where business is conducted
- Complete required carrier appointments and training
- Successfully satisfy applicable background-check requirements
- Comply with all applicable agency, carrier, state, and federal regulations
Candidates must be able to communicate professionally with customers, explain insurance products clearly, maintain accurate records, and work independently while meeting agency expectations.
