Role Description
This full-time, on-site role, based in Mukwonago, WI, involves providing care and support as a Youth Care Specialist. Responsibilities include supervising and engaging with youth in daily activities, fostering a safe and nurturing environment, facilitating relationship-building based on trust and mutual respect, and assisting with therapeutic programs. You will collaborate with other team members to create individualized care plans and participate in the development of a positive, structured environment to empower and guide the youth toward achieving their personal and treatment goals.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated Interpersonal Skills and the ability to build trust-based relationships
- Strong Communication skills for coordinating with youth, families, and team members
- Basic knowledge of trauma-informed care
- Customer Service skills, including empathy and problem-solving
- Passion for working with youth and families, with a commitment to their well-being and growth
- Relevant experience in a similar role is beneficial
- Availability to work on-site in Mukwonago, WI
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in youth services or a related field is a plus
