Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Job Foreman to lead construction projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on-site. As a pivotal member of our construction team, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Your leadership will drive project success, foster teamwork, and uphold the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth workflow and timely deliveries
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide onsite execution
- Manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to meet deadlines
- Oversee quality control processes, inspecting work for compliance with specifications and safety standards
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and assist in construction estimating to ensure financial targets are met
- Enforce OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment by conducting regular safety meetings and inspections
- Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Construction management software for documentation, reporting, and communication
- Review contracts and change orders to ensure scope compliance and proper documentation
- Lead supervising efforts by mentoring crew members and managing subcontractor performance on-site
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction site management with proven supervising skills
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid or equivalent systems
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques
- Familiarity with contracts administration and project scheduling best practices
- Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections
- Deep understanding of OSHA standards and safety protocols specific to heavy civil or pipeline projects
- Excellent management skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively
- Hands-on experience with construction site activities including quality control inspections and troubleshooting technical issues
- Knowledge of budgeting processes related to heavy civil or pipeline projects
- Ability to read technical schematics and utilize tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing
