Job Description
This position is responsible for managing asphalt paving projects from initial planning and estimating through project completion. Responsibilities include reviewing project plans, specifications, and drawings; preparing competitive bids; procuring materials; soliciting and negotiating bids from subcontractors and vendors; submitting proposals; and overseeing awarded projects through completion.
The Project Manager will assist with project scheduling and coordination to ensure work is completed efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with contract requirements and deadlines. The position requires the ability to read, interpret, and understand construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
Candidates should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and be comfortable learning and utilizing new software programs and technology. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate effective leadership, and lead by example while sharing knowledge and expertise with others.
This is a full-time, salaried position that requires flexibility, extended hours during peak construction periods, and a willingness to travel. Company vehicle and lodging reimbursement are provided as part of the position.
