Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Rock Quarry Driller to join our team. This position requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will follow MSHA regulations, perform daily maintenance on heavy equipment, and execute proper drill layouts and patterns. A basic knowledge of drill terminology and the ability to manage all drill supplies and equipment will be essential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily maintenance and inspections on heavy equipment.
- Utilize basic drill terminology and execute proper drill layout and patterns as directed by the General Superintendent.
- Manage and maintain all drill supplies, tools, and accessories.
- Accurately record and submit drill patterns and reports in a timely manner.
- Complete daily timesheets and safety checklists accurately.
- Communicate any mechanical or terrain issues to the General Superintendent.
- Work efficiently and productively with limited supervision.
- Be willing to work at various job sites.
