What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Architect position at Norris Architecture?
Norris Architecture is small collaborative firm that has been focused for over 20 years on a wide variety of high end residential and commercial work with an emphasis on the craft of well detailed architecture. As we enter a new phase of growth we are looking for core team members to help build the foundation of an exciting and groundbreaking studio focused on inspiring the extra-ordinary. We want well rounded individuals who are just as comfortable with a pencil in their hand as they are with a mouse. We use Archicad, so knowledge of it is great but at least have a willingness to learn it. You will be doing everything from drafting/3d computer modeling to sketching and conceptualizing. Furthermore, If you have anything you want to bring to the table to push the limits of what it means to be an architecture studio, please bring it, help us grow in unexpected ways.
Basic Requirements.
• 7 years’ experience
• Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited Architecture School
• Strong design sensibilities
• 3D Cad Skills, Preferably Archicad, Knowledge of Lumion a definite plus
• Experience and ability to lead internal project workflow, planning, and budgeting
• Ability to work with Clients.
• Organized, eye for detail and strong technical skills
Norris Architecture is very flexible with work times and remote work.
