Norres Baggerman North America is seeking a Production Assistant to support the reliable execution of our manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, accuracy, and hands-on coordination—helping ensure production runs smoothly, materials are available, and systems reflect what’s happening on the floor.

What You’ll Do
Production & Scheduling Support
- Maintain and update production schedules under the direction of the Plant Manager
- Release work orders and track schedule adherence
- Identify risks, delays, or material shortages and escalate as needed
- Maintain daily production boards and status reporting
Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy
- Maintain min/max inventory levels for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Perform cycle counts and location audits
- Investigate and document inventory discrepancies
- Support FIFO discipline and inventory accuracy
CIP (24-Hour Ship) & Core SKU Availability
- Audit inventory levels for CIP and key SKUs
- Verify physical stock matches system requirements
- Escalate replenishment risks and shortages
Material Staging & Kitting
- Ensure materials are staged and ready ahead of scheduled production
- Coordinate with receiving and purchasing to prevent interruptions
- Verify accuracy of staged materials
Quality & Process Compliance
- Perform routine audits to confirm standard work and inspection steps are followed
- Verify in-process and final quality checks are completed and documented
- Support corrective actions by confirming closure on the shop floor
ERP & Data Accuracy
- Maintain accurate ERP transactions for inventory movements and work orders
- Ensure system data aligns with physical production and inventory
- Communication & Escalation
- Act as a daily communication link between production, quality, and the Plant Manager
- Proactively escalate schedule, material, quality, or process risks
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field — or equivalent experience
- 2–5 years of experience in production coordination, scheduling, inventory control, or materials planning
Skills & Knowledge
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality inspections
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems and audit processes
- Experience supporting corrective actions or root-cause analysis
- Comfortable working both on the production floor and in ERP systems
