What are the responsibilities and job description for the Union Lumber Yard Worker position at Norrenberns Lumber & Hardware Co?
This position is responsible for fulfilling orders for customers in person and building loads for delivery. Maintaining inventory. Keeping a clean and organized work place. Applicant must be able to communicate well with customers and team members. Candidate must be able to maintain excellent attendance. Work environment is outdoors all year round. Chauffeurs license must be obtained with 3 months of employment. Ability to operate a forklift is required. Experience in the lumber industry is preferred but not required. High school diploma is required as minimum education level. As a requirement of employment, employee must be vaccinated for covid-19. The employee may obtain vaccine within 4 weeks of hire if not already vaccinated.
This is a Union position. After trial period, health benefits will cover employee and their family at 100% employers expense.
