Laminator II — Press Department
Norplex-Micarta | Full-Time 4pm-12am
About the Role
We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Laminator II to join our Press department. In this role, you'll work alongside our Press Operator to prep materials, set up press loads, and keep production running smoothly. It's a great fit for someone who's mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and comfortable staying active on their feet throughout the shift.
What You'll Do
- Assist the Press Operator with daily press operations
- Inspect and weigh up b-stage material
- Operate the buffer and shears as needed
- Cut release film
- Lay up and break down press loads
- Operate a forklift as needed
- Complete accurate production paperwork
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Follow all plant safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months to 1 year of related manufacturing/production experience
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift, with frequent reaching, bending, and material handling
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and 21–50 lbs. occasionally
- A safety-first mindset and strong attention to detail
Schedule: Full-Time
