2nd Shift: Monday – Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM | Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Responsibilities:
This role will require daily management of production lines, ensuring safety, quality, completion of production schedules as required, support of line team, training, labor adjustments based on production schedules, raw material usage, waste elimination, completion of daily production reporting, documentation of work processes and supporting projects and assignments as required by Production Manager and Hazleton plant Leadership Team.
Primary roles and responsibilities of the position are outlined below.
- Ensure Safety, and safety training is complete for all assigned operators and line employees.
- Assist in supervision and scheduling of production employees.
- Assist in setup of equipment prior to the start of production.
- Oversee and assist with equipment disassembly at the end of production each night.
- Direct and oversee the workflow of floor employees during production hours.
- Work with production manager to verify accuracy of weights on product received and finished goods’ counts, and weights.
- Coordinate with trucking companies and suppliers to schedule inbound shipments and communicate that information to production.
- Work with operations to prepare a production schedule and communicate information to production team, quality assurance and Hazleton team.
- Create & maintain detailed, accurate records for production documents and quality documents and SOP’s (electronic and paper).
- Other duties as assigned or required.

- High School Diploma or GED
- Prior meat production experience is desired
