Summary of Position:
The Marketing Clerk provides general office and marketing support through a variety of administrative, clerical, and customer service activities. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while helping the Marketing Department execute campaigns, manage communication, and support brand initiatives.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with strong communication and multitasking skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Marketing-Related Duties:
· Monitor social media platforms, loyalty and online review sites daily to identify, report, and respond to guest feedback in a timely and brand-appropriate manner.
· Assist in coordinating marketing promotions, community events, and sponsorships.
· Support the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including flyers, signage, and in-store collateral.
Customer Service Duties:
· Greet and assist visitors to the Support Center by directing them to the appropriate individual/department.
· Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and complaints received via phone, email, and social media.
· Provide courteous, efficient, and professional service to guests, vendors, and business partners at all times.
· Answer customer calls and emails with empathy and accuracy, ensuring all concerns are properly logged and routed to the correct department when necessary.
· Maintain and assist with compiling reports on campaign performance or customer feedback trends.
· Follow up with guests to confirm resolution of any issues or concerns.
· Support field teams by providing information or materials to enhance guest satisfaction and brand consistency.
· Maintain a positive and professional image of NORMS through every interaction.
Administrative Duties:
· Answer and route incoming phone calls to the appropriate associate or department.
· Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and coordinate outgoing mail and deliveries (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
· Assist with clerical tasks including photocopying, scanning, filing, faxing, and collating documents.
· Schedule introductory call with new team members for CEO weekly.
· Support office operations, including maintaining the kitchen area and coordinating staff lunch orders.
Other Duties:
· Provide support for company meetings, events, or celebrations as needed.
· Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
· Perform other duties as assigned to support the department and organization.
Qualifications:
· Strong acumen in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and comfortable with digital communication tools.
· Previous restaurant or hospitality industry experience is a plus.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to escalate issues appropriately.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused demeanor.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors.
· NORMS experience (past or current) preferred. Current employee must have approval from their General Manager and District Manager.
· Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift to 20 pounds.
