Shifts Available: 2nd Shift & Weekend Shift (Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours)
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on shift and experience)

About the Role

As a Wiring Associate, you will primarily work on the shop floor wiring switchgear according to customer specifications. This role offers opportunities for cross-training in other departments, providing growth potential within Schneider Electric.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire complex switchboard and switchgear components, including PLCs, circuit monitors, and advanced electronic devices.
• Perform mechanical assembly as needed.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship while meeting production schedules.
• Participate in a team-oriented work environment and support continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or accredited GED required.
• Previous wiring experience required; experience with switchgear wiring is a plus.
• A wiring certificate from a technical school or an associate degree in a technical field is beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and material lists.
• Experience as an electrician or electrician’s assistant is a plus.
• Must be able to lift and hold assembly parts up to 35 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Willingness to work mandatory periodic overtime.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
