Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HVAC Estimator to join our growing team in our Reno office. The Estimator will be responsible for reviewing construction bid documents, performing detailed quantity takeoffs, selecting HVAC products, and preparing accurate project pricing of mechanical equipment for commercial construction projects.

Primary Responsibilities
· Review mechanical drawings, project specifications, addenda, and other bid documents to determine project requirements.
· Perform detailed airside takeoffs, including:
o Exhaust and Supply Fans
o Grilles, Registers & Diffusers
o Dampers
o Terminal Units
· Utilize computerized on-screen takeoff software to quantify project materials.
· Use manufacturer selection and pricing software to select appropriate HVAC equipment and generate project pricing.
· Prepare comprehensive project scopes/quotations, and pricing summaries using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
· Coordinate with manufacturers, engineers, contractors, and internal sales staff to clarify project requirements.
· Maintain organized project files and ensure estimates are completed accurately and within bid deadlines.
Qualifications - Preferred but Not Mandatory
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; or
· Previous HVAC estimating experience or experience in the commercial mechanical industry.
Desired Skills
· Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans and specifications.
· Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Experience with computerized takeoff software is preferred.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Self-motivated with a willingness to learn HVAC products, applications, and estimating procedures.
Pay: $60,622.52 - $73,007.76 per year
