Job Summary

Join the dynamic team at Norman S. Wright. We are seeking a Branch/Sales Manager to head up our new Lubbock location. The ideal candidate will have a strong history of successfully managing and growing an HVAC market with a solid understanding of HVAC systems. This role involves close collaboration with the outside sales team, internal engineering support, and manufacturer application support to develop accurate selections for our HVAC equipment. This role requires an individual who is adept at fostering relationships, managing a diverse team, and implementing effective strategies to achieve sales targets.

We are a leading Manufacturer’s Representative firm specializing in HVAC systems, collaborating closely with engineers, contractors, and building owners to deliver energy-efficient, dependable, and innovative solutions. Our team partners with top manufacturers to bring innovative products and applications to the market while providing unmatched technical support.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the branch to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
Lead outside sales efforts, focusing on B2B sales, territory management, and lead generation.
Manage account relationships through effective communication and customer service.
Manage sales team while developing outside Territory Managers and growing dealer base for key manufacturers.
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional strategies that align with branch goals.
Train, mentor, and evaluate branch staff to foster professional development and enhance team performance.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining high standards of customer service.
Qualifications

Proven experience in management roles within a sales environment, preferably in HVAC distribution or related field.
Strong skills in outside sales, inside sales, direct sales, and cold calling techniques.
Demonstrated ability in business development, account management, and territory sales.
Familiarity with establishing customer dealer base with key manufacturers by implementing and promoting targeting marketing & incentive programs.
Excellent analytical skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members alike.

Compensation

Projected Total Compensation: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
