- Evening differential $2.00 / hr.
- Night differential $2.50 / hr.
- Weekend differential $2.50 / hr.Our Med / Surg Observation Unit is a fast paced 24 bed telemetry / medical-surgical unit. Common problems seen in our unit include chest pain, syncope, congestive heart failure, pneumonia, and diabetes. Our nurse patient ratio ranges from 4-6 patients depending on acuity. Our care team includes a charge nurse and unit assistants with support from respiratory, lab, and case management departments. We orient new nurses to our unit by providing a 6-8 week orientation program with a dedicated preceptor team, complemented by classroom courses, and a nurse residency program for new graduates. - Completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.Experience
- Prefer previous hospital experience.
- Previous work history reflecting stable employment is necessary.
- If no work experience, will consider school attendance record and performance.(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).Licensure / Certification.
- Current Oklahoma State LPN License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
