Job Description
We require a skilled technologist to prepare and operate cardiovascular imaging equipment, assess patient condition, and maintain a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will have certifications in radiologic technology and experience in Cath Lab operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition, preparing and positioning patients for procedures.
- Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
- Utilize downtime effectively, performing tasks such as stocking rooms and checking equipment.
Requirements:
- Certificate or Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Registration as a Radiographer (R) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International – RCIS (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training, Advanced Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
