This is a full-time, on-site role for a First Grade Teacher at Lincoln Elementary within Norman Public Schools, located in Norman, OK. The role involves planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons, developing and implementing curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment, assessing student progress, and maintaining communication with parents/guardians and school staff. Teachers are expected to inspire academic growth, model respectful behavior, and support students' social and emotional development.
- Experience in Teaching, Elementary Education, and Curriculum Development
- Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively
- Proficiency in creating and implementing developmentally appropriate teaching strategies
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification or license for elementary education (preferred)
