Job Title: Service Technician (Metal Fabrication Machinery)

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Technician to join our team in Baltimore, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining metal fabrication machinery both in-house and on the road. If you have mechanical aptitude, a solid work ethic, and practical decision making, we are open to providing training to help you succeed in this position.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform routine service and maintenance on a variety of metal fabrication machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with machinery, providing timely and effective solutions.
• Conduct both in-house and on-site service calls to ensure machines are running optimally.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to improve equipment performance and extend machinery lifespan.
• Work closely with our team to ensure customer satisfaction and timely repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all service and maintenance work performed.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with machinery (prior experience in metal fabrication is a plus but not required).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers and coworkers.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (for on-site service calls).
• Must be detail-oriented and committed to high-quality work.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn – training is provided for the right candidate!
