Position Overview
We’re looking for an On-Site Project Superintendent to lead and support our talented field teams. This role combines leadership, organization, and a deep understanding of fine residential construction. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys mentoring others, and takes pride in delivering exceptional results. You’ll oversee daily operations, coordinating manpower, subcontractors, materials, and schedules to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. While primarily supervisory, you’ll also be ready to pick up tools when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor in-house crews on residential projects ranging from $100K to $5M
- Coordinate subcontractors and internal staff to meet project goals and schedules
- Oversee scheduling, permitting, procurement, and site logistics
- Ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time
- Maintain clear and accurate daily reports, timesheets, and job logs
- Communicate proactively with clients, subcontractors, and Project Managers
- Read, interpret, and build confidently from plans and specifications
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite
- Manage multiple projects or priorities as needed
- Use laptops, tablets, or construction management software to track progress, documentation, and communication
What We’re Looking For
- 10 years of hands-on carpentry or construction experience
- 5 years of supervisory or superintendent experience on residential projects
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Computer literacy — comfortable with software, spreadsheets, and digital reporting tools
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and coordinate multiple teams
- Professional, dependable, and proactive with strong problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and a standard carpentry toolset
