What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Audio/Visual Internship position at Normal CornBelters?
Summary
The Normal CornBelters (NCB), a summer wood-bat collegiate baseball team, are members of the Prospect League. The CornBelters are owned and operated by Play9 Sports, a sports management group. Play9 Sports also operates the Kernels Collegiate League (KCL), a wood-bat collegiate league, which plays a 30-game league solely at the Corn Crib in Normal. The Normal CornBelters, Kernels Collegiate League, and the Corn Crib are looking for an Audio/Visual Intern to join their team for the upcoming 2026 season. Roles will be assigned based on the individual's experience and ability following an interview process to determine the best fit within the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for music and sound effects during each CornBelters home game, including pregame and postgame music playlists
- Operation of the stadium videoboard during each CornBelters home game
- Work alongside our PA announcer and scoreboard operator to lead in-game entertainment and promotions graphics
- Advance the in-game fan experience of the CornBelters audience
COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Have an enthusiastic, positive attitude and provide a strong effort to succeed
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, highly organized
- Must be available for all CornBelters home games and have ability to work extended hours including weeknights and weekends
- Can succeed in a team environment
- Able to multi-task and effectively problem-solve
- Comfortable interacting with other team members

- This is an unpaid position. Internship are eligible for college credit opportunities
