Responsibilities
- Prepare food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing customer orders and payments accurately
- Manage food service customer orders from taking to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean workspace by following sanitation protocols and organizing kitchen equipment
- Handle cash register operations including processing cash transactions and giving correct change
- Assist with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during busy hours
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and resolving issues promptly
- Support retail sales transactions through cashiering duties, including processing credit card payments and receipts
- Uphold food handling standards to ensure safety and quality in all food preparation activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong skills in food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation practices
- Ability to manage time effectively in a high-pressure setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
- Experience operating kitchen equipment safely is desirable
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to serving, food handling, and safety regulations is advantageous
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
