Primary Purpose : A Training Specialist Transportation focuses on delivering technical training material to transportation related crafts. Strong communication skills, written and verbal, are fundamental to achieving success in the position. A thorough understand of operating rules, policies, procedures, and learning principles is essential.
Principle Duties :
Deliver technical training through classroom facilitation, hands-on demonstrations, and simulations
- Provide coaching and feedback to employees and trainees to empower them to reach their full potential
- Evaluate trainees' skills and performance
- Review and evaluate current training materials / practices
- Measure the effectiveness of training programs
- Collaborate across the Human Resources department
- Perform all course administrative functions
Education : Preferred Level – Bachelor's Degree
Required : Conductor Certification and minimum 1 year experience
Preferred : Locomotive Engineer Certification; RCO
