ON CALL SUBSTITUTE Provides health care services to a preschool student with respect for human dignity and the uniqueness of the client, unrestricted by consideration of the social or economic status, personal attributes, or the nature of the health problems. Exercises informed judgment and use individual competence and qualifications as criteria in seeking consultation, accepting responsibilities, and delegating nursing activities to others. Meets the Standards of School Nursing Practice as established by the National Association of School Nurses and the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.EXPERIENCE with tracheostomy care highly desireableMust have a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse or LPN in Massachusetts (M.G.L. c.71, s.53) and maintain certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation and First Aide from a recognized provider.
