REPORTS TO: Assistant Principal/Activity Director
RECEIVES GUIDANCE FROM: Assistant Principal/Activity Director
JOB GOAL: To receive each contact with the school in a friendly, helpful manner, and perform secretarial duties efficiently and expeditiously to benefit the operation of the school and its activity program
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Ten months (8 hours/day)
EVALUATION: Evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the district’s Personnel Evaluation Policy
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Perform general secretarial duties including answering the phone, filing, operating office machines, greeting visitors, etc.
- Duties include: organizing game workers, organizing game days, ordering concession stand supplies, eligibility lists, student permission/physical forms and other activity paperwork, observations, discipline reports and letters home, accident reports, correspondence, memos, schedule changes, news releases, Coach's Procedural Booklet, sport schedules, team rosters, reminders, athletic contracts, official contracts and pay vouchers, programs, certificates, end-of-year report, budget sheets, home athletic events, district tournaments, invitationals, etc.
- Creating purchase orders and monitoring use of gas cards/mileage and district credit cards
- Coordinate vehicle requests
- Prepare a yearly calendar of events and update regularly
- Prepare NSAA eligibility certificates for athletes
- Update inventory annually\Utilize athletic computer program
- Other duties as assigned
