Branch Sales Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to meet branch goals.
• Lead, coach, train, and evaluate sales staff.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular sales calls and follow-up.
• Identify market opportunities, analyze competition, and grow market share.
• Monitor pricing, costs, margins, and profitability.
• Partner with leadership on budgets, reporting, and sales forecasts.
• Communicate company goals and expectations to the sales team.
• Address employee performance concerns and complete appropriate documentation and corrective action.
• Travel within the territory and alongside sales staff to support development and customer growth.
• Promote professional, ethical sales practices and strong customer service.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 7 years of sales leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial, or steel service center environments preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, organization, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience with budgets, sales reporting, customer relationship management, and territory planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to travel regularly.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Ability to work in an industrial environment, including standing, walking, climbing, and working at heights as needed.
• Ability to travel by car and plane.
• Must be able to work in hot, cold, and noisy environments.
• Must wear required PPE and follow all company safety standards.
