What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saw Operator position at Norfolk Iron & Metal Co.?
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm $17.50/hr
Must pass drug test and background check
The qualified candidate will possess the following:
- Read blueprints, drawings and cut list
- CNC experience
- The operator must ensure that the final product is finished and packaged to company and customer expectations.
- Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner at all times
- The operator reviews the work orders from the sales department to verify quantities, specifications, process capabilities, delivery schedule, packaging requirements and availability.
- Must communicate effectively to all departments and employees of the company
- Must show a positive attitude in position
- Computer skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook program
Experience
Preferred- 1 year(s): CNC Experience
- 1 year(s): Saw Experience
